I love all of these… but I cannot emphasize enough how true this last one is: “Don’t handicap your children by making their lives easy”. As I will say good by to my first one in a few weeks, I am beginning to realize that my parenting time with her has been completed. We both grew during this journey and now I am happy to let my precious Noemi go and start living her own life on another continent… because I know she is ready.
